Most of my Cakes I soak with sugar syrup to ensure they are delicious and moist from the first cut all the way to the last spoon full. The Syrup can be infused to add an additional dimension of flavour to your cake. Examples of these infusions can include an Alcohol, Spices, Herbs, Citrus Fruits, and lots more! I will be more than happy to offer some suggestions.
At Sugary Occasions I have a wide selection of cake stands for use to add the finishing touch to your cake.
The hire cost will vary depending on the size of stand from £5-£20. I do require a refundable deposit providing the stand is returned within one week of your event and in original hire condition.
If there is a specific stand you would like that we do not have for hire, we require a minimum of 6 weeks notice in order to have it ordered for you.
The delivery of your cake will be subject to charge depending on the location of your venue and the distance it is from the ‘PO20’ postcode where I am based.
I do not recommend a pick-up service on tiered cakes, as they need to be handled with extreme care and can sometimes be difficult to transport if the vehicle is unsuitable.
Upon delivery, which will take place the morning of your event unless otherwise instructed, your cake will be set up correctly and professionally in the chosen location inside the venue.
On all cake and pastry orders above £50 I require a 20% non-refundable deposit to be paid within 5 days of your order. This will confirm the cake order for your required date.
If I do not receive payment within the required time frame, unfortunately I cannot guarantee that I will be able to book your cake in for the specified date.
You will have until 4 weeks prior to the delivery/collection date to make any changes to your cake, but you must keep in mind that any changes could affect the cost.
The final payment will need to be paid 4 weeks prior to delivery or collection.
